Easements
Easements are rights certain people or organisations may hold over certain property. For example a Right of Way, whereby an owner of a lot may be able to drive, walk or generally pass over another lot owner’s property for one reason or another. This might be the case, for example, where a block has been subdivided into two, with one home at the back of another. The owner of the back property would usually need a Right of Way to pass over the property at the front to get to their own property. There are many different easements in existence. Please bring your Contract to me for review so I can ascertain whether any easements exist.
Covenants
Covenants are rules which exist over some properties. These can be restrictions on how you use the land, or what you might build on the land. Some properties have no covenants. Please bring your Contract to me for review so I can ascertain and explain any covenants that may exist.
Caveats
Caveats are notifications to the Lands Office which can be placed on title records for various reasons. Please telephone me for more information on Caveats.
